Does He of doctrine care, or rather moved by hearts that share, will titles gained or wealth acquired merit any praise or see us in good standing at the end of days,

Why is it so hard to see a truth most profound, that we are spirit beings in human form and not the other way round,

For what purpose are we here and why do we exist, is it not to live and breathe, God’s eternal love and bliss,

Until we fathom this universal truth we are doomed to live in hell, a dungeon of our making own with nought to break the spell,

Peace, joy and liberty can be only found, when alas by Grace we are set free, from the demon known as self.
